As the seminal record celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2026, this special release revisits the magic originally captured at Surrey's Ridge Farm studios during the summer of 1991. At the time, producer Al Scott was tasked with channeling the band’s fiery live energy into a refined studio masterpiece. The resulting album completely redefined the UK musical landscape, offering a powerful soundtrack for a generation exhausted by Thatcherite politics and a stagnant, pre-grunge musical era. Driven by massive hit singles like "One Way", "15 Years", and "Far From Home", alongside enduring fan favourites such as "The Game", "Liberty Song", "The Riverflow", "Boatman", and the explosive "Battle Of The Beanfield", the record became an enormous commercial triumph that proved the band's songwriting brilliance. Yet, both the band and Scott always felt the original release fell short of capturing their true live potency. Now, three and a half decades later, original producer Al Scott has completely remixed the legendary LP, breathing new life into the tracks by opening up the stereo image to finally deliver the expansive power these songs deserve.
